History
Apocalypse's history is presumably similar to his Earth-616 counterpart's. Apocalypse sensed the awakening of the super-powerful machine the Unmaker and became intrigued by it. The Unmaker nearly destroyed the world but was eventually stopped by an EMP unleashed by Doctor Strange. However, Strange failed to close the portal the EMP came from, unleashing an EMP that devastated technology all over the world. Wars and chaos erupted afterward, but eventually, society rebuilt itself with the exception of Europe, which Apocalypse took over.
