Dinah Lance was a member of the Justice League of America as the Black Canary, before being selected to be the new Green Lantern in place of Hal Jordan, taking the alias Green Canary. The Black Canary was a member of the Justice League and is the lover of Green Arrow. After killing an infected Hal Jordan with her Canary Cry, she is chosen by the Green Lantern Ring to be the new protector of Sector 2814 and leaves to join the refuge with Superman at the Daily Planet. She and Superman later went looking for survivors in Metropolis, finding The Flash and Kid Flash. Bringing them to the refuge, they soon fight an infected Giganta, who dies when Cyborg blows a hole through her head. read more
