History
Lockdown was originally a Decepticon, who had a sideline as bounty hunter and hired killer. As mentioned in Locked In, Lockdown claimed the bounty on the Coseem crime gang's boss. Five years before the Battle of Chicago, Lockdown was part of a three man team consisting of himself, Drift, and Knucklehead, trying to capture an Autobot fortress. Drift and Knucklehead wanted in claim it with minimal bloodshed, but Lockdown preferred a more destructive solution. After they sneaked in, Lockdown disobeyed orders, and killed the prisoners anyway. Drift stopped him, giving a gleeful Lockdown the chance to claim the guy was a traitor and kill him off.
