History
After a flashback to Metropolis when it got destroyed, Tim was the leader of the Teen Titans. Tim appeared alongside Superboy and the rest of the remaining Titans to take on Superman but, ended with superman critically wounding Superboy causing him to internally bleed. In order to save him, However, Superman sent him to the Phantom Zone, but only until the Titans agreed to go with Kon. In the midst of a global crisis, Tim and the other Titans are rescued from the Phantom Zone by Plastic Man. About a minute after escaping and finally reconnecting with his adopted father, Tim is shot through the chest by Zod, who had also managed to escape the Phantom Zone.
