Layer 1: Quantum Reality

The base of this Type 4 metaphysical creation model begins in the realm of quantum mechanics. At this level, particles exist in multiple states at once (quantum superposition), only collapsing into one state upon observation. Here, the smallest particles in the universe and their interactions form the bedrock of existence. Quantum entanglement also suggests a deeply interconnected nature of all things at this level, where changes to one particle instantaneously affect another, regardless of the distance between them.

Layer 2: Material Universe

Emerging from quantum reality, the Material Universe forms the second layer. This level consists of the tangible, observable universe around us. It's governed primarily by the laws of physics, such as gravity and electromagnetism, and is populated by galaxies, stars, planets, and life as we know it. Our human experiences and scientific exploration happen primarily in this layer.

Layer 3: Consciousness

The third layer relates to consciousness, the subjective experience of being. In this model, consciousness isn't merely a byproduct of the material universe, but a fundamental layer of reality. It's at this level that concepts such as self-awareness, cognition, emotions, and perceptions reside. Many theories of consciousness exist, and its origins and implications are still much-debated topics in philosophy, cognitive science, and neuroscience. Some theories, like panpsychism, even suggest that consciousness is a universal property, present to some degree in all entities.

Layer 4: Higher Dimensions

This layer pertains to dimensions beyond the conventional three spatial dimensions and one temporal dimension that we experience in the Material Universe. String Theory, for instance, posits the existence of up to 11 dimensions. These higher dimensions might encapsulate multiple parallel universes (the multiverse), extra-dimensional beings, and states of reality that are beyond our conventional comprehension. This layer offers explanations for phenomena that might seem paradoxical or supernatural in the Material Universe layer.

Layer 5: The Absolute or The Source

The fifth and final layer is the realm of the absolute, sometimes referred to as The Source, or by religious individuals as God or the Divine. This layer represents a unified field or entity from which all creation springs and to which it returns, the ultimate ground of all being and non-being. It's the most speculative and least understood layer, often more in the purview of spirituality and metaphysics than empirical science. This level transcends all other layers and might contain the "purpose" or "meaning" behind the entire creation.
