Anger vs. adrenaline rush

How are short tempers (like with Wolverine, the Hulk and the Ninja Turtle Raphael) different from fight-or-flight-response inducement (like with Batman)? They both provoke fearful reactions, but how are they different?
When your angry you hold back less and less which makes you think your boosting your strength. Your not, your just not holding back as much as you've done majority of your life. You still feel pain but you don't notice it as much as your so tunnel vision on your objective that you don't notice it.
Adrenaline rushes are usually brought about through fear and stress. Your body sends you through a fight or flight mode so you can escape with your life. Unlike anger, you actually do feel less pain as your body will numb it for you to cope with getting out of there alive. However if you take too long you go through an adrenaline dump which will leave you feeling fatigued and have all that pain rushing back at you.
