1. Super Smash Bros Ultimate; I've followed the series since the N64, never dropped an entry and have been loving my time with this game :)
2. Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars; To have played several MvC titles, I thought TvC was easier to link combos and to grasp the formula.
3. Ultra Street Fighter 4; I purchased AE and upgraded to Ultra when it was released. This was so far the only time Capcom updated a fighting game like that. The gamneplay was great and the soundtrack was pretty awesome ^_^ I give bonus points for salvaging Rolento, Elena, Hugo and Poison from SFxT :P
4. Undertale ( I also the fan-made version of this game: undertale yellow)
Would we consider beat em' ups to be the fighting game genre? If so, I think Sifu might be one of the best entries we have had in awhile. Not a lot of depth in the story but a ton of fun in the gameplay. The combat is so well done and the difficulty makes everything feel absolutely earned.
