My favorite racing games of all time...
1. Midtown Madness: probably my first open world racing/driving game? Driver came out later that year, but Midtown Madness was so original to me with online racing, capture the bag/flag modes, and stuff I had never played in any driving games before
2. Test Drive Unlimited: I don't think the game holds up, but it was a perfect showcase for the 360 at the time and truly felt like something you couldn't do before on old hardware... the always online, connected leaderboards, huge open world, beautiful graphics, etc.
3. Mario Kart: it had a lot of racing maps and it had all of my favorite characters in the game except Princess Peach.
4. geometry dash lite: It has many levels and its gameplay is fast-paced.
Gran Turismo is my favourite. Need for Speed is second.
They've added the (extensive) second hand market again in GT7, that was the best part of the older GTs. Getting an old car and tune it to win was the best part of GT.
I've done most of the main event, but I still race with my favourite cars.
