Marvel's Avengers Game

Black Panther's History

Early Life

The son of King T'Chaka, T'Challa was groomed to become the next ruler and protector of his nation as its Black Panther. During his childhood, he witnessed his father's death leaving deep scars on his soul. With his uncle S'Yan assuming the role, T'Challa was trained in the various skills of the Black Panther.

Work with the Avengers

At some point in the Avengers' operations, T'Challa succeeded his uncle as the next Black Panther. He often worked with the team to join forces against threats to Wakanda, during which he reestablished contact with long-time ally Captain America. When A-Day was announced, T'Challa and Wakanda were planning to come out in public as an allied nation to the Avengers at Rogers' behest. However, his apparent death during the tragic event caused them to lose contact and isolate themselves from the world once more.

After the A-Day

Because of a guilt-ridden Bruce Banner felt admitting the Avengers team as a threat to the world and leading to disbandment, Tony Stark wanted to offer T'Challa to own Stark Industries and his assets on behalf of Captain America's dream. However, T'Challa declined, causing Tony's company to lose to Hammer Industries, and being called out by Stark for also not attending a supposed deceased Rogers' funeral for one last time outside Wakanda as well. For five years, Black Panther and his people are able to defend Wakanda from being invaded by the rise of AIM, having had learned that they were responsible for the incident in A-Day and Captain America's presumed death.

It was until then, Shuri discovered from worldwide intel and informed T'Challa that Captain America is found alive and revealed to have been kidnapped by AIM (particularly Monica).
