Cyn

Cyn's History

Prior to the events of the series, Cyn was a Worker Drone that was marked for decommission, but was improperly disposed of. This failure of her disposers to uphold proper disassembly procedures lead to her suddenly self-rebooting at the bottom of a junkyard filled with decommissioned Worker Drones, causing Cyn to become the first known Zombie Drone. It can be presumed that she eventually escaped the corpse pile and was adopted by Tessa to work at Elliot Manor, not realizing the other entity hiding with her programming.

Similar to J, V, N and the other Worker Drones working as servants in the manor, Cyn was also abused by James and Louisa but was initially liked by their daughter who doesn't share the same low opinion of the Worker Drones. However, over time, Tessa realized that something about Cyn was different from the other Worker Drones and due to her very abnormal behavior, its presumed that Tessa had asked J to lock Cyn in the manor’s basement as punishment on more than one occasion, (though only one time was shown on-screen) even though she could presumably escape on her own.
