Gardevorn emerged from the bubbling lava of the Everlasting Inferno many eons ago, at a time when the Archtrees still darkend Lordran's skies. Even amongst his ferocious brethren, Gardevorn displayed an unparalleled penchant for pyrokinesis.Through the ages, Gardevorn witnessed the Abyssal invaded of Manus's children and the war of the Ancient Dragons. He remained secluded in the Inferno, practicing the arts of fire and shadow. Some theorize Gardevorn may have even crossed paths with the legendary pyromancer, Queelag's sister.When Lord Gwyn linked the First Flame, Gardevorn felt its diminishing disparity call out. Yet he had grown too bonded to the Inferno to leave. Instead, many of his infernal offspring heeded the call, invading Drangleic and bringing fire and chaos. Without their patriarchal ruler, the invading infernals grew undisciplined. Lord Vendrick and his knights pushed them back after long years of battle. Now only rumors of "The Everlasting Inferno" remain as a nesting ground for Gardevorn's kind.
