Gyaos's powers and abilities

Flight - Gyaos is capable of flight up to speeds of Mach 3.5. Their large wings are also capable of generating hurricane force winds. The Space Gyaos Variant can also survive and fly in space.

Regeneration - Gyaos is able to regenerate from non-life threatening injuries fairly quickly, such as when one regrew its foot after it was severed in less than an hour.

Smoke and Fire Repellant - Gyaos can emit a heavy smoke from its back to block out the sun in its area. They can also spray a fire retardant foam from their chest, which was strong enough to prevent Gamera's arm jets from igniting.

Supersonic Scalpel - Gyaos's neck contains highly advanced vocal chords that can act as a tuning fork. This ability allows Gyaos to fire a thin cutting beam from their mouths which can cut through most things, although Gamera's shell proved too strong for it.

Gyaos's weaknesses

The Sun - Natural sunlight causes Gyaos's skin to retract, limiting their movement. The Space Gyaos presumably do not have this weakness.

High Temperatures - Fire and high temperature is highly effective against Gyaos and is its primary weakness.

Durablity - Despite having a potent regenerative ability, Gyaos has been killed by a strike that removes its head, which the monster Guiron exploited.

Nech Stiffness - Gyaos's vocal chords restict their neck's movement, making it so they can only fire their Supersonic Scalpel in a very narrow range.
