Hedorah's powers and abilities

Acidic Properties: Hedorah is composed of a viscous sulfuric acid-like compound that he uses for various attacks and techniques. His primary defense relies on letting attacks pass harmlessly through him while inflicting damage to his opponent. He can also fling globules of himself at opponents and generate massive amounts of sludge. His acidic discharges are strong enough to completely desolve a human in seconds, collapse steel structures and even melt another Kaiju's flesh down to the bone.

Eye Laser: Hedorah can shoot red lasers from a point above his eyes. These powerful beams catch most substances on fire upon contact.

Variable Form: Hedorah is able to assume multiple forms based on the amount of toxic waste he has eaten. The primary three are his Perfect form, Flying form and Landing form, with the latter being a weaker version of his perfect form. Hedorah can also seperate himself into a Landing and Flying form (or any combination of the two) from his Perfect form.

Flight: While in his aptly titled Flying form, Hedorah can fly by releasing huge amounts of sulfuric acid mist underneath him.

Hedorah's weaknesses

Eyes: Hedorah's eyes are the only part of his body that can be damaged conventionally, although he can continue to act and fight at a reduced capacity while they regenerate.

Dehydration: Hedorah is mostly composed of liquid and is vulnerable to his form drying out and crumbling. Normal high heat is not enough to accomplish this (or even Godzilla's atomic breath) and requires a huge amount of generated heat. Also, if any moisture remains. Hedorah can return in one of his more juvenile forms to reconstitute and fight another day.
