History of Jem'Hadar Battle Cruiser
The Jem'Hadar battle cruiser was a type of large battleship used by the Dominion during the late 24th century. A staple of the Dominion's Gamma Quadrant fleet, these warships were introduced to the Alpha Quadrant in mid-2373, after a large number of battle cruisers were part of the first wave of Dominion ships to pass through the Bajoran wormhole, following the incorporation of the Cardassian Union into the Dominion. Gul Dukat commanded one of these vessels before the Dominion War, as well as during its opening battle in late 2373. Jem'Hadar battle cruisers participated in many of the major battles in the war. For a time, these assault ships were constructed at the Monac shipyard until the shipyard and a large fleet of ships under construction there were destroyed by the Monac sun in early 2375.
