Keizer Ghidorah's History

Keizer Ghidorah (referred to as Monster X in his alternate form) is a massively powerful member of the larger Ghidorah species and has appeared several times to fight Godzilla and the monsters of Earth.

Monster X arrived on Earth alongside SpaceGodzilla, Gigan and Hedorah. He assaulted New York City, where he was intercepted by Mothra. He managed to dispatch her before Boxer, Harrison, and Asuka Hikari arrived piloting Mechagodzilla and accompanied by Kumonga. After dispatching Kumonga, Monster X engaged in a brief fight with Mechagodzilla before SpaceGodzilla and Godzilla showed up. After Mechagodzilla and SpaceGodzilla were both knocked out of the ensuing four-way battle, Monster X transmogrified into Keizer Ghidorah and promptly gained the upper hand over the King of the Monsters. However, Rodan soon arrived following his battle with Gigan to assist Godzilla, managing to decapitate one of Keizer Ghidorah's heads by creating a sonic boom from his wings. This helped turned the tide against the space demon, with Godzilla subsequently tricking him into biting off one of his other heads. Godzilla beat Keizer Ghidorah into submission and finally killed him by crushing his remaining skull under his foot.

In Rage Across Time, Keizer Ghidorah arrived on Earth in a meteor shower sometime in the Late Cretaceous Period and defeated various kaiju participating in a brawl. Keizer Ghidorah then transformed into Monster X to fight Anguirus and Godzilla. Monster X was pinned down by Godzilla, but he defeated him when the latter was distracted by the sight of an Xilien fleet and pushed into a volcano. Monster X then returned to his Keizer Ghidorah form and joined the fleet.
