Mechagodzilla's powers and abilities

Durability - In both the novel and movie, MechaGodzilla is able to shrug off almost all damage aimed at it. In the novel, only Minerva X's Breast Fire and Raideen's God Breaker swords were able to damage the Mecha while all of Ultraman's attacks shredded its defenses. In the movie, only RX-78-2's beam sabers proved able to damage the mecha's armoring, as even the Iron Giant's laser did no damage.

Breath Weapon - In the novel, MechaGodzilla could fire a lightning beam from its mouth that destroyed almost every enemy it hit. This was exchanged for a blue flame weapon in the movie that could melt the Iron Giant's armor and disintegrated Daito's avatar with ease.

Finger Missiles - Much like the Showa incarnation, the movie version of MechaGodzilla could fire tracking missiles from its hands.

Mechagodzilla's weaknesses

Eyes - In the movie, MechaGodzilla's eyes can be damaged by gun fire, allowing any that get close enough to shoot into the cockpit.
