Melzas's History

Melzas, the main antagonist of the video game Alundra, is a malevolent entity of unknown origin who arrived on Earth from a distant planet. Seeking immense power, Melzas manipulated the beliefs of humanity, portraying himself as a benevolent god and amassing a devoted follower. However, his true nature as a parasitic entity was eventually exposed, and he was imprisoned within the depths of the Shrine of the Lake.

Despite his confinement, Melzas remained a formidable threat. He orchestrated a series of atrocities to fuel his power, including the destruction of the village of Inoa and the manipulation of the villagers' dreams. Through his influence, the villagers suffered from nightmarish visions that manifested physically, posing a real danger to their lives.

The arrival of Alundra, a Dreamwalker capable of entering the minds of others, posed a significant challenge to Melzas's plans. Alundra's ability to confront Melzas in the realm of dreams allowed him to expose the demon's true nature and unravel his wicked schemes.

In a climatic confrontation within the Shrine of the Lake, Alundra confronted Melzas and, armed with the holy sword crafted from the villagers' prayers, vanquished the demon for good.
