Mihira's History

Mihira is the Targonian Aspect of Justice. During her ascension, she was pregnant with Kayle and Morgana who then inherited a portion of her power. Mihira soon grew into one of the mightiest warriors Runeterra had ever known, but her husband Kilam soon grew to fear her and the increasing danger her enemies posed to their children. He resolved to take the girls out of harm’s way, journeying across the Conqueror's Sea to a settlement where the land itself was said to offer protection against magic. Lacking a reason to stay on the physical plane any longer, Mihira entered the Celestial Realm to truly merge with her aspect.

After spending many years within the Celestial Realm, Mihira finally returned to Runeterra to confront the Darkin Xolaani whose power had quickly spiraled out of control. Arriving with her full host and assisted by her daughter Kayle, Mihira engaged Xolaani in battle. Despite having an overwhelming power advantage against the Darkin, one small cut on Mihira's divine body allowed her blood to be exposed. Utilizing this opportunity, Xolaani used her magic to control and then absorb Mihira. With this new power, Xolaani's goal of absorbing the entirety of the planet looked within her grasp were it not for the timely intervention of Ryze, who used the power of the World Runes to destroy the rogue Darkin and release Mihiria from her control. With the remaining Darkin retreating and her purpose complete, Mihira returned to the Celestial Realm and entrusted the safety of Runeterra to her daughter and Ryze.
