What is Octobot?
History of Octobot
The Octobot was a 1990s Spider-man animated series invention of Dr. Octopus that mimicked his traditional, mechanical arms and that he telepathically controlled using special headgear. It gave him 8 super arms altogether instead of 4, but the 4 extra arms of octobot were separate from his body. The advantage would be more range. It was able to subdue Spider-man just like Ock's old arms on his back would. As the little girl proved in that Spider-man episode, it was equipment/weaponry that anyone can control mentally.
