Romulus Salomon's History
Romulus Salomon was born in a small village outside London, England. From a young age, he displayed a gift for magic and the occult. However, his magical experiments as a teenager often went awry, with disastrous consequences. During one ill-fated ritual, Romulus attempted to commune with a dark spirit for knowledge and power. The ritual spiraled out of control, and his family's farmhouse was engulfed in flames. Both of his parents perished in the fire. Romulus barely escaped with his life. Tormented by guilt, Romulus delved deeper into the darker mystical arts. He studied ancient grimoires and practiced sinister magic, seeking to understand the forces that killed his parents. Over time, Romulus became intensely knowledgeable about the supernatural, though his obsession took a toll on his soul. In his early adulthood, Romulus moved to London and fell in with a crowd of misfits and occult hobbyists. They formed an underground punk band called "The Infernal Majesty," experimenting musically and magically. During a chaotic ritual concert, one of their number became possessed by a malicious entity. Romulus tried desperately to save her but failed, and she disappeared from the mortal realm. Ashamed, he disbanded the group and cut ties with his former friends.
Romulus continued his solitary studies, mastering magic from across Europe and beyond. He took particular interest in black magic and demonology. However, his spells often went awry or had unforeseen consequences due to his Dark obsession. On more than one occasion, innocent lives were lost or destroyed due to Romulus' careless toying with sinister forces.Plagued by nightmares and guilt, Romulus enrolled himself in an asylum, hoping to curb his addiction to black magic. The institution only exacerbated his trauma through inhumane "treatments." He eventually broke out and went on the run, avoiding the authorities. Now operating as an underground occult consultant, Romulus aids both sides of the law and morals equally. He handles paranormal problems and threats across London using his formidable magical skills and criminal underworld connections. Though effective, Romulus' methods are often dangerous, unpredictable and bordering on evil. He struggles daily with his inner demons and Addiction to the Dark magics.

After many years operating as an independent magical problem solver in London, Romulus Salomon found himself embroiled in a cosmic war for control of the Demon Realms. Asmodeus, the former king of the Nine Hells, had grown tyrannical and unstable in his rule. A prophecy foretold his downfall would come at the hands of "The London Warlock."In the climactic battle, Romulus bested Asmodeus in single combat, aided by his formidable arcane abilities and a mysterious sigil given to him by unknown entities. With Asmodeus slain, the throne of Hell was left vacant. To the surprise of all present, including Romulus himself, the infernal legions swore allegiance to their new ruler—him. Once a tormented soul addicted to corruption and guilty of many sins, Romulus has now assumed command of the very realm of damnation. From his obsidian palace in the depths of the Hells, he aims to bring about a new era—one of order, law, and prudent leadership, though with his own dark pragmatism. Despite his rise to ultimate power, Romulus remains as unpredictable and complex as ever in his motives and methods. Only time will tell what new challenges and threats will test this unlikely new Lord of hell.
