SCP-INTEGER's History

It is unknown how LOGICIAN came to be. It was the king of the interdimensional realm of SCP-4000 inhabited by the nameless Faeries who seemingly worshipped the being, and based on information gathered around ███-3955 LOGICIAN appears to be located somewhere in the deep void of space. LOGICIAN's existence was a secret to the Foundation and everyone else except for the Faeries and as a result, its influence on Earth was very minimal.

Encountering Placeholder In the modern era, Dr. Nathan Valis working for the SCP Foundation in Site-15 when doing some bureaucratohazardous anti-math not only was able to discover LOGICIAN's existence but also its true name and nature as a sapient entity, leading to him cataloging it as an SCP. This caused part of LOGICIAN's identity to be taken by Valis, angering the entity who punished him by abstracting his own name, forcing Valis to be renamed Placeholder McDoctorate. Following its discovery, LOGICIAN proceeded to abstract of everything referred to it, such as its file which was renamed SCP-INTEGER. A Foundation employee went on to interview Placeholder over SCP-INTEGER's file. Placeholder did his best to explain the situation while not invoking the entity's effects, but the interviewer unintentionally referred to LOGICIAN as an "issue", causing their identity to get abstracted. Two more Foundation employees fell victim to SCP-INTEGER which forced the Foundation to attempt to contain it by referring to it using "correct" identifiers while being oblivious to its real nature except for Placeholder.

Following this, SCP-INTEGER began affecting all realities which possessed their version of Placeholder through his Rubik's cube. In these realities, Placeholder under the employment of the Foundation encountered SCP-INTEGER and had their identities abstracted along with their Rubik's cube, causing the cube to be synchronized with its other versions and essentially become one single object. If this cube were to be muddled it would affect the other realities in which it existed. After some versions of McDoctorate became O5-6 of the O5 Council they would discover the anomaly surrounding their Rubik's cube and its effects, designating the entire phenomena SCP-6416. However, when these Placeholders attempted to break free of this anomaly they would inadvertently cause their entire reality to be destroyed, with SCP-INTEGER remarking that's not the kind of story they should tell.
