SCP-UBU

SCP-UBU's History

SCP-UBU is a humanoid entity that appeared in Kangaatsiaq, Greenland. Its appearance coincided with a ΩK/A-cass Augmented "End-of-Death" scenario and the severance of the Earth from other dimensions. As a result, no one could die or escape from SCP-UBU's torment. The entity begun torturing humans, playing with them like toys, for hundreds of years. The monster's superhuman capacities made it unable to be stopped, as it effortlessly survived anything thrown at it. With time, nearly all of humanity had gone into an anomalous extended coma to avoid the pain it gave. Dr. Laurence Michaud, former O5-11, was the last member of the Foundation willing to stop it. He went to one of the last containment sites of the Foundation and took SCP-001, alongside other objects, in order to go back into the past to try and find a way to stop it.

After several failed cycles of attempts to terminate it, members of the Triple Moon Initiative were accidentally informed of SCP-UBU's whereabouts. In response, a small team of operatives were sent to terminate with a small ritual. As it turns out, SCP-UBU was merely a Pantagruel, a common type of monster in Corbenic. This one, noted as being the runt of its litter, had been blessed by Second Prince NÅZHDAK with the passive ability to cause its regenerative and world-sealing effects. The method to deal with it were revealed to the Foundation, drastically lessening any danger from future Pantagruel attacks.
