Shockwave's History
Khris Michaelson was an astronomer working for T.I.S.D. with a vast fascination of stars. As a young boy he bounced from home to home trying to find a family that would take him in and see what it feels like to actually be loved instead of the constant neglect he faced time and time again. He was living inside his little makeshift tent, box house eating what was left of his food that he stole from school. He enjoyed living outside, because at night he could look up at the stars he loved so much, but today couldn't have been worse for young Khris. A group of bullies from his school followed him home and the began to beat him up and tear up the very little he had while tormenting and taunting him with insults. A pacing man saw this ran over and saved Khris as the bullies ran off. Khris looked at his former house torn apart, and he began tearing up. The man offered him a place to stay and without hesitation he went with him. He lived a happy life, went to collage, and got his dream job of becoming an Astronomer. While checking out an anomaly that just happened a passing meteor shower caught his eye. For some reason he was compelled to go outside and few it in person. A huge chrome box crashed down leaving a huge crater in the ground and Khris decided to pick up this box. Once he did he was blinded by a huge flash of light and began to see a hellish world that was once Earth, and in the smoke and fire stood something sinister. The box also granted him superhuman abilities and complete control over electricity and he dedicated his life to the side of good to hopefully stop this sinister future from becoming a reality, but all he has is seven years and the clock is ticking.
King Kilowatt Saga-
Khris' hometown of Albuquerque was visited by someone that claimed to be his uncle, and was accompanied by his cousin Jolt. Michaelson was skeptical but went along with him to his planet, Gladiator Prime, where he ruled as king. He gave his brother the royal privileges that came along with it. He enjoyed it greatly, that is until he found out why his brother Kilowatt wanted him to come to his planet. Kilowatt suffered from a brain tumor that greatly deteriorated his mind causing him to become mad, and he needed a new brain to replace it. Khris refused his brother's offer and this greatly angered Kilowatt. He blasted him sending him flying through a wall and the two engaged in combat. Kilowatt dominated for a good majority of the fight. Just before delivering a massive blow, Kilowatt was stopped by a lightning bolt to the back. It was Jolt along side the real Kilowatt. After being discovered the fake showed himself to really be Kinih Ahous, a very powerful entity that was apart of the Nova Knights, a group of suns that had become sentient and devoured other suns to gain power. Shockwave, Jolt, and Kilowatt fought vigorously, eventually vanquishing Kinih Ahous. Kilowatt returned to his throne as Gladiator Prime's righteous king.
Will of Lightning Saga-
After being trapped within time by the Dark Usher, Khris found himself wondering through Limbo, a realm in-between the fabrics of reality, hoping for a way out. On the outside Captain Cobalt and Sargent Tungsten search for a way to free him. During his travels he encountered a spirit named Tsuki-Tomi, also known as The Mid-Night Shade, who offered him a way to freedom. Khris didn't trust him for a second but really had no other options so he followed Tsuki to a large pillar in the center of a open field. He told Shockwave it was a beacon to leave this realm but before it will activate he must finish a set of trials. Not knowing where to begin these trials he was instructed to touch it and it's light will guide the way, and without hesitation Khris touched it. He followed the path it lead him to while Tsuki waited at the pillar for him to return. While this happened Cobalt and Tungsten found themselves face to face The Dark Usher and they engaged in combat. Shockwave had finally completed all of the trials and woke up. After touching the pillar he was sent into sleep and the trials where those of the mind but he awoken to a portal that lead to the outside normal world. The Dark Usher was held off long enough for Shockwave to escape and eventually defeat him. The Dark Usher was then trapped in Limbo and punished by The Mid-Night Shade for his crimes.
Chronological Paradox Saga-
The Dark Usher had caused more damage then originally thought. When he created the rift that trapped Shockwave in Limbo had also ruptured the space-time continuum. The effects weren't yet catastrophic, but enough to the point Khris needed to take action immediately. Shockwave along with Sargent Tungsten had to find away to seal the rift through time. They contacted an old friend in hopes they could used his technology. He agreed and the two headed to T.I.S.D. lab so they could use his time capsule KRONOS. The two strapped inside and headed straight to the source of the rift. Once there the were meet with a being who called himself The Ambassador. They followed him to the spot the rift was located. It was a huge portal right in the middle of the Chrono-Citadel and was increasing in size. Shockwave and Tungsten hopped inside and were sent directly to the cause. In the middle of the hole in time stood a large serpent. Before they could even begin to talk it carged at them. The fight was intense each hit opening the portal further. The only way to defeat it was the bring it outside of the rift into the Citadel and kill it there. Once doing this the serpent was easily vanquished, but the rift was still open. As they struggled to come up with a plan, The Ambassador with the wave of his hand closed it. When asked why he didn't do that sooner, he replied "I could have but if I did the Serpent would have only reopened it". But was given further inspection the Serpent had a T.I.S.D. logo on the side. Both of them headed straight to his front office and questioned him about it. He was working a machine that could travel through time a fix any imperfections, but during a test run The Dark Usher corrupted it. Before they could talk any further they were all teleported far away. They had returned to Earth to confront Tsoukalos about it. He told them essentially the same thing. The two gave him warning and then left.
Reaper Mentality Saga-
During a fight with some casual bank robbers Khris noticed a large meteor almost slam into the planet not too far off, he quickly wrapped up the situation and headed over there. A large entity that looks similar to Kinih Ahous. The being could not even move and with his dying breath spoke to Khris "A new... Reaper has risen..." he passes away shortly after. Puzzled by this Khris takes off the lab of Michael Maelstrom. He tells Khris things like this have been happening all over the universe where multiple solar body avatars have been found dead, the one he just saw was Apollo, others that have fallen are Inti, Sunna, Sol Invictus, and many more. Shockwave having a previous encounter with a Nova Knight he brushed it off as he saw they were all evil anyway. Dr. Maelstrom stopped him before he left saying that not all Nova Knights are evil, and even if they weren't they are a necessary part of the universe and if they were to all die it would have unbelievable consequences that could endanger the universe as a whole. Shockwave (after being given the coordinates) took off into space to find the cause of all this. He reaches a large castle floating through space and proceeded inside. He saw corpses of Nova Knights laying all over the castles halls, and from a ways down he saw flashing lights and headed towards it. To his surprise it was Raptear, but a much more sinister Raptear, one with new reaper attire and a massive blade (the sword of the original Grim Reaper). He was battling the few remaining Nova Knights that consisted of Ra, Doumu, and the strongest of all of them Helios. Shockwave joined the fight against Raptear and the tides started to turn but with the battle causing ripples through space-time The Jury (a massive being apart of The Trinity of Trial) showed up to stop this imminent threat. Full of ego and bloodlust Raptear striked The Jury with his sword only for it to shatter into pieces and Raptear being completely erased from all existence.
The Sparking Finale (7 years later) Saga-
The Dark One had finally reached Earth and began his conquest by obliterating all who stood in his path leaving only a handful of heroes remaining who were left to do battle with his chosen disciples. Shockwave, Crimson Crusader, Frostbite, and Titan Tornado stand atop the rubble and ashes. They did battle against legions of demons, but after Titan had fallen the heroes quickly began to fade. But when all seemed lost the Rocket Man showed up to save them all, and they all entrusted him with any hope they had left along with anyone still alive on Earth. Rocket Man was victorious and the universe began returning to normal.
Epilogue-
Khris returned to his home town of Albuquerque and resides there to this day fighting off any evil he may come across along side his cousin Jolt who is now married to Richard Pondexter.
