Tadpole's powers and abilities

Flight - Despite the small size of their wings, Tadpoles can achieve flight for limited periods of time. After a certain period, they do begin to rely on gliding.

Fire Breath - Tadpoles can launch toxic blasts of green-ish fire from their mouths to help subdue their prey.

Hunting Tactics - Although not nearly as intelligent as their adult counterparts, Tadpoles demonstrate a degree of intelligence. They fly in tight formations and swoop down to grab EDF soldiers, which they consume equipment and all.

Variants - Tadpoles come in Red, Green and Blue variants. These seem to represent how far along in their life cycle they are, with each successive variant being more resilient and growing larger. To summarize, Red Tadpoles are likely the youngest, Green are an intermediate age and Blue are nearing adulthood.

Tadpole's weaknesses

Intelligence - While not dumb, Tadpoles appear to act mostly on instinct and this can be exploited.
