Valkyrie's History

Valkyrie from Earth-TRN885 was in the distant land of Sakaar when Asgard was destroyed in Ragnarok and thus escaped the fate of her fellow Valkyries. She became the only Valkyrie left on the Primary Earth after the Convergence merged the Midgardia and Sakaar into it. When Maestro first conquered the Sakaar region of Primary Earth, Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Bruce Banner, Jim Rhodes and Valkyrie organized a revolt against his tyrannical rule. Unfortunately, it ended in disaster. Using a gladiatorial control disk, Maestro temporarily took control of the Hulk, making him lose control and kill Tony. The rest were devastated and abandoned the cause, retreating into seclusion across different corners of Sakaar. Rhodey and Valkyrie, who had developed feelings for each, split up as well and Valkyrie, who had to carry Tony's soul over to the other side, vowed against any more fighting. She settled in a small town insider the Great Desert run by Peter Quill and only did her small part in protecting it from the Red Kings slavers.

When Stephen Strange from the Omega Flight sought to use the Seed of the World Tree Yggdrasill as a solution to the convergence, he discovered that a curse was placed on it by Hela. The only way to get to Hela inside the Dark Domain was to cross the veil of the dead and Valkyrie was the only one left on Primary Earth who could do it. An operative of the Omega Flight searched for her across Sakaar, finding her in Quill's settlement. Valkyrie initially refused to help, still haunted by the less against Maestro. It was not until the Red Kings attacked the settlement and she was forced to fight back to defend her people that Valkyrie remembered the need for action and agreed to offer her aid. However, unable to leave Sakaar to suffer under Maestro's tyranny she became determined to finish what she an the others had started and end his reign of terror before she could leave.
