Compliment - The Venator was a designated carrier and typically carried around 420 combat space craft. This compliment usually included at least 192 V-Wing or V-19 Torrents (depending on the era of the war) and could include Y-Wings, Eta-2 Actis, ARC-170 and Z-95 Headhunters to fill out the rest of the complement.Weapons - The Venator's main firepower came from 8 double barrelled heavy turbolaser cannons. To complement this, it was equipped with 2 dual medium turbolaser cannons, 52 point defense laser cannons, 4 heavy proton torpedo launchers, 6 heavy tractor beam projectors. In addition, the Venator was equipped with an unspecified number of AV-7 artillery cannons along the trench. Some Venators also equipped a SPHA-T Heavy Turbolaser in the ventral docking bay, which was strong enough to destroy a Munificent in a single shot.
